On October 23, 2024 we had our final full-day in Barcelona. We had booked a Hop-on-Hop-off bus tour with an optional catamaran ride for the day’s activities. By this point in time, we had seen so many sights, and we were getting a little tired. We walked to the Arc de Triomf to catch the Hop-on-Hop-off bus. We took the bus up to a stop to catch a funicular (Cable Car) up to Montjuic. Montjuic means Jewish mountain. The views were spectacular from there. It took a little time to find the right line. Eventually, we got up to the castle at the top. We did not spend a great amount of time there because it was our first stop.

When we were finished there, we rode the funicular down the mountain and got back on the bus. We rode to an area that looked promising for lunch. We ate at a small restaurant in a residential area. It was several blocks off of the main tourist area. Michael and Jennifer finally got tapas. How can you go to Spain and not eat tapas?

We hopped back on the bus. We decided that we wanted to switch from the orange route to the green route. Then, we planned to go for our catamaran ride. We got off at the stop closest to the entrance to the catamaran and found the entry point. We discovered that we were about 10 minutes too late. We got back on the next bus and rode back to a place closer to our hotel. By that time, it was getting a little cool outside. We said our goodbyes to Larry & Diane when they departed and we walked back to our hotel, stopping at a sandwich shop to get a bite to eat.
It was time to pack up everything in order to prepare for our cruise on Thursday morning! We had one last night at TOC Las Ramblas and got up for breakfast on Thursday morning.
